Even so, persons snorkeling should pay extra attention to the rays from the sun and wear appropriate clothing (T-shirt etc.) to practice their hobby.
On the Maldives one is particularly spoilt by all the sunshine and sun fanatics feel as if they are in paradise.
Being near to the equator the rays from the sun are very intense and this means special care is advised.
